Rainfall Anthem

Raindrops paint the skyline, silver on my skin.

City lights like constellations,

calling me to begin.

Thunder rides the tempo, heartbeat syncs with the fall.

I lift my face to lightning, I feel 10 feet tall.

I used to wait for sunlight for calm beyond the night,

but every storm's a story,

every dark can hold its light.
