Morning paints the rooftops gold.

Worries drift like clouds that roll.

Tie my shoes with threads of light.

Take a breath, begin the climb.

I was quiet as a shadow on the wall.

Now I'm learning how to stand up tall.

If the road repeats its same old song, I'll change the key and sing along.
